Support the Tommy Turner Lone Star Leadership Fund

Pi Kappa Alpha lost one of its true servants with the passing of Thomas J. Turner (Texas Tech, Epsilon Gamma ’67). Brother Turner’s legacy is one of leadership, vision and generosity.

During his undergraduate years at Epsilon Gamma (Texas Tech University) Tommy served the chapter in many roles including new member educator and vice president.  After graduation, he entered the Baylor University School of Law and went on to a distinguished career in the legal profession.

Since his initiation in 1967, there has rarely been a time during which Pi Kappa Alpha did not benefit from Tommy’s leadership and talents.  His commitment includes service in nearly every capacity imaginable, from local to regional to international offices including regional president of the Lone Star region, Fraternity legal counsel, international vice president, international president and PIKE Foundation trustee.  For all he has given to Pi Kappa Alpha he was honored with the Loyalty Award in 2007 and is recognized as a member of the Foundation’s Junior Founders Society.

The Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation is humbled to accept contributions to the Thomas J. Turner Lone Star Leadership Fund, a new fund established in memory of Brother Turner and his outstanding service and commitment to the Brotherhood of Pi Kappa Alpha. Once funded, this scholarship will produce an annual financial award recognizing the most outstanding undergraduate from a chapter based in the Lone Star Region of Texas.
